AND GOD CREATED ST. TROPEZ

Summer on the sultry streets of St. Tropez, a glimmering jewel on the coast of Provence.

The name St. Tropez was taken from a Roman soldier called Torpetius or Saint Torpes of Pisa, beheaded for his religious persuasion. Little did he know that this location on the Côte d’Azur where he found his final resting place would become a destination for the rich and famous in the 20th century. A place synonymous with sophistication, success and sexiness, it’s still arguably the pinnacle of chic vacation spots. The jet set still get wet here. Now in the next century, rock n rollers, revellers, roustabouts, and road riders all mingle and twinkle between the expensive yachts, overpriced aperitifs, and miniature dogs.

St. Tropez reflects in its crystal blue waters France at its most glamourous and idiosyncratic, where anyone can be anything, especially if the price is right. Sometimes a place has something you can’t buy though – a feeling, a certain light, a vibration…a je ne sais quoi. Here in St. Tropez you can shape your own story, ride your own race, and say salut! to the cyclists…
