Sóller

A trail run of 11km with gorgeous changes of scenery and terrain with trails and a road included, the MA10. This tarmac is only a small stretch of the route and the rest is ridiculously beautiful.

Start at the beach and find your way up taking the main road, in the direction of Sóller. Following the smaller paths you reach the MA10 for a short but steady climb.

Then it’s on your way to the cliffs. This is where the fun begins and where the infamous Mallorcan goats rule the roost. Take your time to find the right path. When in doubt, just follow the GR221 towards Refuge Muleta. If you want to go a bit off track, follow the purple dots – these will guide you through the high grasses and rocky sculptures.

This is a 3-4km section which then drops you out on a run towards the lighthouse at Refuge Muleta and back onto the main road to the beach. You can’t miss this as you will have the cliffs by your side for direction.

Created for those who are willing to spend some time up in the forest and mountains, it follows a section of the GR221 trail.

If you’re not looking for a brutal mountain run, take in the beautiful tranquil beach, Colonia de Saint Jordi, a protected nature reserve.
