These guys were wearing casquettes with, dare we say it, panache before the concept of luft even entered the new wave of cycling chic.
Before the boudin (the sausage helmet) and the modern plastic version, the older generation of Riviera cyclists rolled with cycling caps perfectly placed on their tanned heads.
