As a result we offer a range of technical and elegant cycling wear made with high-end fabrics and playing with kind of a retro style. Our principle is to avoid mixing the technical development and the styling. While the fabric selection and technical design are aimed at creating performance wear, the styling is deliberately elegance oriented. Our Products
Road cycling is physically demanding and subject to weather pleasantness ! This gives us two good reasons to select the most adapted, robust and high-performance fabrics. From design to production, the care for details and quality is a central concern in our process in order to deliver comfortable and efficient products.
Sur le Bitume series are tailored for the road. The fabric selection and care for details won’t allow any compromise on function. The garments are designed with tough standards that reflect the toughness of road cycling sport.
Sur le Zinc series will elegantly follow cyclists in their daily activities: always ready for a ride and for a break at the café. The garments are technical and designed to allow both urban and performance usage.
Who are we?
Café du Cycliste was founded by André and Rémi - respectively Ironman triathlete and former canoeing world champion. A shared passion for cycling brought them to open a cycling community café on the French Riviera and very quickly to the launching of an alternative cycling wear brand. Café du Cycliste is a French brand settled on the French Riviera surrounded by countless beautiful rides. We simply cannot dream of anything better than France for road cycling! We are big fans of our scenic winding roads, our mythical cols and our cafés.
